Hillel Board of Governors

March 27th, 2007 · 4 Comments

A concerned citizen wrote in with this information about who you can contact:

If you Google board of governors, the last list that comes up is for 2005.

Many of those people, from what I’ve been told, still sit on the board today:

Marty Scheck, Gil Bonwitt, Rachel Sapoznik, Dr. Janet Mitrani, Hedy Whitebook, Jennifer Olemberg, David Wolfe…

Possibly: Joanne Papir, Judy Dach who brought to us the non-Jewish dean contingency.

The Jewish community is small. It should not be difficult to locate emails. However, the official conduit to avoid mass emails is supposed to be:

Rafael Russ: rafaruss@bellsouth.net

Hillel “Administration”:
Dr. Holden: holden@hillel-nmb.net Head of
School
Rabbi Druin: druin@hillel-nmb.net, Rabbinical Head
Mrs. Kohl: Kohl@hillel-nmb.net HS Principal

The teachers would like to have copies of any letters you send to the board or to the administration:

More boards names, to my knowledge. Try to confirm this:

Dr. Janet Mitrani, Helen Broide, Diana Ben-Arie

At one point, the board and administration changed so many times over such a short period of time that Hillel stopped printing their names on the official letterhead stationary. Got too expensive. I’m not sure what the stationary says now.

I do not beleive that we can comment on the actions of trained professionals of the school..

As a trained professional with comparable credentials to those employed at the school, I and many of my fellow parents, colleagues, and concerned individuals have the inalienable right to question, comment, and express ourselves in whatever we may feel is in the best interest of our children, our teachers, and ourselves. ….and those who think otherwise should check the governance structure of the country in which they are privileged to live and work.

    Signed a passionate hillel supporter!

As a trained professional myself, I concur!
